    Constructor's Number (MSN): CV-311
    Place of manufacture: Montreal QC
    Date Built: 1943
    Registration: CF-IDS

Notes and comments: A dismal scene outside the Field Aviation hangar at Malton, the snow has melted revealing mud and a probably dead '57 Mercury. CF-IDS was there for a tanker conversion at Field Aviation, a couple of weeks later ownership changed to North Canada Air.
    CF-IDS was written-off 1 September 1971 in a collision with PBY-5A CF-HTN 68 miles NW Fort Smith NT
